Customer Support Star and Future Mini-Maverick Mom

If you have ever submitted a support request to Mavro and received a lightning-fast reply that somehow felt both professional and genuinely cheerful, chances are you have already met Danielle Pomper. As one of the friendly faces behind Mavro’s Dispatch Team, Danielle has spent the last 9 years making sure customers feel heard and supported, and never left wondering whether their request disappeared into the internet abyss.

Danielle joined Mavro in March 2017, and since then, she has become one of the quiet forces behind the scenes, helping keep the company running smoothly. Her day-to-day work includes coordinating support requests, helping various teams with everything from financial spreadsheets to retreat planning, and keeping important notes, tasks, and projects organized.

The Maverick Behind the Two-Minute Response Time

One of her favorite parts of the job is responding to customer support emails. She personally aims to reply within two minutes whenever possible because she never wants customers to feel stranded. “I enjoy connecting our customers with our support team to reach a quick, effective, and friendly resolution,” she says. Around Mavro, speed matters, but kindness matters just as much. Danielle manages to deliver both.

She also plays a big role in one of Mavro’s most beloved internal traditions: Mavrocize. The voluntary wellness program encourages employees to set exercise goals and earn rewards for sticking to them. Some employees log millions of steps each year, while others donate their earnings to charity. Danielle loves seeing coworkers cheer each other on, whether they are hitting fitness milestones or supporting meaningful causes. At Mavro, even step counts become a team sport.

And then there is the annual Mavro retreat, which sounds less like a corporate event and more like a long-overdue family reunion. According to Danielle, the most common answer to “What was your favorite part?” is simply “being together.” The least favorite part? Going home.

When asked about company culture, Danielle does not hesitate to use one word: family. The Mavro team chat is filled with birthday wishes, barbecue victories, snowstorm photos, and updates about new grandchildren. “Even when we are over a thousand miles apart, we still stay connected,” she says.

Speaking of Family…

At home, Danielle shares life with her husband, Jesse Pomper, who also works at Mavro as an Applications Engineer. Their household includes two orange tabby cats, Ray and Saturn, who are mother and son and presumably run the house with tiny furry authority.

But the important news is that the Mavro family will be growing. This Thanksgiving, the Pompers will welcome their newest family member. A future “Mini-Maverick” is on the way!

From Dispatch Team to DisneyBounding

Outside of work, Danielle’s personality somehow gets even more colorful. She loves traveling, exploring fun places, and collecting postcards by mailing one to herself from every city she visits. She is also on a mission to visit as many Mellow Mushroom restaurant locations as possible, which may or may not qualify as a highly specialized form of tourism.

She is also a devoted Disney fan who enjoys DisneyBounding as various Disney characters, including WALL-E, while visiting Magic Kingdom. Between that and her impressive seasonal decorating skills, it is safe to say Danielle does not do anything halfway.

Danielle also fully embraces every season. Spring means tending to roses and towering 12-foot sunflowers. Summer involves boardwalk pizza and arcade crane games at the Jersey Shore. Fall brings the couple’s annual backyard pumpkin carving party. Winter transforms her home into a festive wonderland complete with Christmas blow molds and snowpeople whenever the weather cooperates.

And then there is Danielle’s secret identity. Literally.

By day, she is Administrative Assistant and Dispatch Team superstar. But once a month, she becomes Captain Hoagie, the cape-wearing mascot for her church’s hoagie sale. Armed with a sign, a smile, and dramatic wind-blown cape energy, Captain Hoagie proudly waves to passing cars and spreads joy one sandwich at a time.

Whether she is supporting customers, motivating coworkers, decorating for the holidays, or saving the world from hoagie emergencies, Danielle Pomper brings warmth, positivity, and heart to everything she does. At Mavro, that makes her family.
