Mavro Employee Spotlight: Bob Frank

Spotlight on Bob Frank: Building Customer Relationships

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Bob Frank, you know he’s not just a Sales Executive. He’s basically Mavro’s front porch: always welcoming, full of stories, and maybe even building something useful while he chats with you.

Bob joined Mavro in December 2011, which means he’s been helping Mavro customers for nearly 14 years. And with industry experience dating back to 1986 (back when check processing involved lamps, lenses, and more patience than most of us have today), Bob has seen firsthand how far technology has come. He’s quick to point out that Mavro’s commitment to innovation (and to people) makes the ride worthwhile.

So, what’s a typical day like for Bob? It might include giving demos of new features, meeting with customers, teaming up on projects, or finding opportunities to grow the company. But what he loves most is simple: helping people. Whether it’s new customers who are thrilled after their system goes live, or long-term clients who’ve become friends, Bob thrives on building relationships and making their daily work easier.

When asked about Mavro’s culture, Bob doesn’t hesitate: family. Not just the employees, but their families too. He loves that the same care Mavro extends to customers carries over to every spouse, child, and yes, even pet (shoutout to Lily the family cat).

Speaking of family, Bob lights up when talking about his own. He and his wife Marcy enjoy weekend getaways to Amish Country in Ohio, are toying with the idea of an Alaskan cruise, and recently helped their daughter and son-in-law with a home renovation project. And here’s the headline news: Bob is about to be a Grandpap! (He’s already building a rocking chair in his workshop, we suspect.)

When he’s not at work or spending time with his family, Bob’s hobbies sound like a DIY dream reel: woodworking, laser engraving, home projects, and bow hunting (although not so much for the hunt anymore, but for the peace and quiet of the woods). As Bob says, it’s less about the deer these days and more about perspective.

Of course, Bob’s idea of fun isn’t limited to power tools and bow hunting. About eight years ago, he finally bought his dream car: a 1979 Corvette. Unlike some classic car projects, Bob wanted one that didn’t need endless restoration; he wanted to drive, not just tinker. So, he made a few modern upgrades, including a Bluetooth stereo to replace the original (which came complete with an 8-track and CB radio—nostalgic, but not exactly Spotify-friendly). When summer and fall roll around, you’ll often find him taking the T-top out and cruising country roads in search of new places to explore. He even joined the Phantom Cruiser Car Club, where he gets to swap stories with fellow car enthusiasts.

With nearly 14 years at Mavro and a lifetime of stories, Bob Frank is proof that when you mix expertise, family values, and a good sense of humor, you get more than just a great sales executive. You get the kind of colleague who makes everyone feel at home.

Keep up to date with the latest developments from Mavro.
